Montero sponsors free occupational safety and health training for Lamao folks

Driven by his advocacy to equip his village mates with skills, Barangay Lamao Councilor Pepito “Pitong” Montero initiated a free Basic Occupational Safety and Health (BOSH) training for 100 Lamao residents.

Montero partnered with AVIE Training Consultancy Services for the training proper. The 4-day free BOSH training started on May 11 and 12 and will continue on May 17 and 18 being held at Millennial Hall, Lamao. Montero is providing free lunch and snacks to participants during training. Those who availed the free training are aspiring safety officers from the village. “Gusto natin matulungan ang ating mga ka-barangay magkaroon ng kaalaman tulad ng pagiging safety officer upang magamit nila sa paghahanap ng trabaho”, Montero said. He thanked AVIE Consultancy and Training Services CEO and Manager Salvacion Jaro and company Occupational Safety and Health Consultant Raymond Blanco for the partnership.
